JOHN MCLEROY graduated from Athens Technical College in 1984 and has been with Japanese Motor Works since March 2000. John is the one who is always eating in our television commercials.
John's professional experience includes Midas Mufflers, independent repair shops, International Harvester, Isuzu, and dealerships, including Athens Toyota as a Master Diagnostic Tech. |
BAZ McDANIEL is the Service Manager at Japanese Motor Works. He has worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years. A member of SAE International (Society of Automotive Engineers), he holds both Master Technician and Service Consultant certification by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as well as Certified Technician by the Service Technicians Society (STS). He is active in the Club Racing program of the Sports Car Club of America. |
DEWEY KINCHEN started his automotive career when he was 14 years old. His father, a USPS mechanic, had him replace an alternator on their 1986 Plymouth Reliant. He started working as a shipping and receiving clerk at Critz Motors of Savannah in 1991, and later became assistant service manager in 1995. He decided to return to parts and continued his journey as a parts panager. Seventeen years later, with years of import experience, he is now Parts Manager of Japanese Motor Works. His pride and joy is his son, Charles Kinchen. |
DURWARD SIMPSON has been a mechanic for 33 years and currently holds an ASE Master Technician certification. His favorite vehicles are Mazdas and have been since 1973 when he owned his first one.
Cars aren't just a profession for Durward, they have been his love since he was very young. A licensed SCCA race driver and race car owner, he also helps maintain and repair three other race cars. Please check out Durward's racing Web site. |
